2007 release. Mazi Namvar aka Audio Soul Project is well-known for his top-quality productions and "Enter The Night" is another example. This record kicks off with a house rhythm before a bristling bass really starts driving the piece along. "Sarabbath" on B1 is a fine and dark mixture of crisp beats and glitchy percussion, creating a forceful groove as spluttery synth stabs keep up the incessant pressure. Cuts of Mazi's vocal twist things just a bit more evil, as the house-edged mood continues its push further into new depths of mayhem. The driving melody in "No Exit" on B2 is quite a head-turner and should create a stir in the clubs, using the more minimal and melodic side of this great 12".

2006 release. Dessous welcomes Audio Soul Project aka Mazi. Running his own label, Gourmet, and with 10 years of producing and DJing under his belt, Mazi knows what people need to hear on the dancefloor. On the A-side, the first mix of "Realitiy Check" features an extra fat bassline, strong claps and the never ending shaker start the groove when a lulling voice, talking about dancefloors, bass and speakers, completes the track. "2 Atoms Away From You" is an easy, floating track, taking you on a trip through different bass figures and delays. Why do you dance? Because of records like this!
