"The title of this compilation is something of a motto for Penny Records. It's a phrase that actually dates back to the beatnik slang of the '50s and sums up the spirit of the selections found here, whose common theme, if there is one, seems to be nonsensical lyrics and odd obsessions. Jackson's 1959 'Oo-Ma-Liddi', to the Ukelele playing Californian Nervous Norvus' 'Transfusion' (a huge smash hit in 1956), to the Queen of rockabilly, Wanda Jackson's 1961 'Funnel Of Love'.
