Delayed... "B.B. King, the 'King Of The Blues' is an undisputed music icon. In a career spanning seven decades, he sold in excess of 50 million records, won 20 Grammy Awards, and played alongside artists such as Bono, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Elton John, and Stevie Wonder. A hard-working musician, King toured the world several times over, taking his extraordinary blues from the margins to the mainstream. His emotional and sophisticated soloing on his Gibson guitar, 'Lucille,' coupled with his subtle vibrato style, influenced a diverse range of artists, including, Keith Richards, Carlos Santana, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Richie Sambora, and even 50 Cent. This fine collection brings together some of King's greatest early blues numbers. From his first hit single, 'Three O'Clock Blues,' timeless tracks such as 'Woke Up This Morning' and 'Everyday I Have The Blues,' the epic double sider 'Sweet Sixteen' finishing with his early sixties classics, 'Someday' and 'Peace Of Mind.' King was a pioneer from the very beginning, with this collection demonstrating just why the British blues bands of the late sixties revered him as a guitar god. King was inducted into the Blues Foundation Hall Of Fame in 1984, the Rock 'n' Roll Hall Of Fame in 1987, received the National Academy of the Recording Arts and Sciences Lifetime Achievement Award and awarded the Presidential Medal of the Arts in 1990. In 2006 he received the Medal of Freedom, America's highest civilian honor."

Dharmacide is a Spanish band known for their eclectic fusion of genres, blending elements of shoegaze and dreampop music. Tougher Than the Rest is their awaited second album. They take a step forward with a darker sound with gloomy riffs and ethereal voices in which they describe perfectly how the sound of a night full of random events would be like. "The Cigs, The Light, The Coffee and Crying," the LP's first single, features a powerful reverb-laden riff with a solo vocal melody in the middle of the chaos until breaking into a powerful chorus. Dharmacide's sound is marked by intricate guitar riffs, powerful drumming, and deep, emotive vocals that create a unique atmosphere. The band, with members of Alcalá Norte and Depresión Sonora, has made a huge impact on various stages, performing at renowned venues and festivals, including iconic spots in their home country as well as internationally, earning praise for their high-energy performances and thoughtful compositions. Their latest singles have been produced, mixed and mastered by Mark Gardener from Ride. Their sound is influenced by today's bands like Diiv, Warpaint, or Beach House but also by classic artists like Cocteau Twins, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, and Tom Waits.

RELEASE DATE: 7/18/2025
The Rhythm Machine is now available again to the musical public, legitimately reissued in its original packaging. Offering up brilliant soul, haunting ballads and high-energy mid-'70s funk, this tasty medley is served best in its entirety. Virtually impossible to find in its original edition, it is now reissued once again thanks to a collaboration with Now Again. Pressed on 180g vinyl. Indianapolis' legendary Rhythm Machine is one of the rare funk bands that transitioned between eras of funk's history seamlessly, creating awesome funk sides for a host of independent labels between the years of 1968 and 1976. Born out of cult Indy funk band The Highlighters' ashes, the Rhythm Machine was founded in the early '70s by bass player James Boone and guitarist James Brantley. Their self-titled and only LP, originally released in 1976, is a wild, super-groovy ride with tight band energy and a bunch of unexpected twists that keep things interesting from start to finish. At first, you might catch some Earth, Wind & Fire vibes -- deep basslines, funky beats, and killer horn sections -- but dig a little deeper and you'll find something a little looser, a little cooler. There's a smooth, jazzy undercurrent running through a lot of these tracks that gives the whole thing a fresh, off-the-beaten-path feel. Some songs drift into a dreamy, almost spacey zone -- think cosmic funk with a romantic twist. The production is silky, almost liquid-like, letting the guitars shimmer and the keys float. And when the soprano sax kicks in? Pure magic. It adds just the right bite to take the tracks up a notch. Perfect for late-night grooves, chill sessions, or anyone hunting for that hidden gem funk record with serious soul.

LP version. "The much-anticipated follow-up to LA-based singer-songwriter Natalie Bergman's critically acclaimed 2021 solo debut album Mercy. If you re-envisioned and rebuilt Motown somewhere in the California desert, it might sound something like My Home Is Not In This World. Recorded analog-to-tape and produced by her brother and longtime collaborator Elliot Bergman, the 12-track record shimmers with gospel soul, country-western heartache, and rock 'n' roll grit, all filtered through Natalie's unmistakable voice. Where her critically acclaimed 2021 debut solo album Mercy was steeped in grief and spiritual reckoning, written in the wake of the sudden loss of her father and stepmother, My Home Is Not In This World emerges from new life and rebirth. Natalie gave birth to her son, Arthur, in 2024, and the experience of motherhood has transformed her music into something equally tender and transcendent."

This is one of the most obscure singles ever released in Venezuela in the '60s. The outstanding The Pets' original "El entierro de un hombre rico que murió de hambre" is one of the finest garage tunes to emerge from Latin America. Their stunning take on The Door's "Hello, I Love You" takes the B side. A garage DJs favorite! First time 45 reissue, audios remastered from the original tapes. It followed the global triumph of The Beatles that made the wave of beat groups get bigger and bigger and lots of new bands emerged, some of which would last while others would definitively go into oblivion, and a small number of them would leave at least one recording that today is considered a highly valuable collector's item. This is the case of The Pets. The band's only album, released in 1967, shows perfectly what the influences of the Venezuelan nueva ola (new wave) scene were at the time, including versions of The Doors, Beatles, Rolling Stones, and Paul Revere & The Riders.

Electròccid àccid alquimístic xoc marks a shift in Pau Riba's sound -- now electrified and fully embracing rock under the influence of artists like Lou Reed, Ray Davies, and Kevin Ayers. Once again, Riba left everyone bewildered with a work that, on its own, gave early substance to what would eventually be known as roc català, of which Riba may well have been its most authentic representative. First vinyl reissue in over four decades! The magical "Dioptria" had been left behind. The album was recorded in the winter of 1975 with the help of the same group of musicians who had accompanied Riba a few months earlier at a concert at Zeleste to debut new songs: a mix of Valencian musicians from bands like Paranoia Dea and guitarist Eduardo Bort's group. The core of Electròccid is defined by Riba's own authorship. With lyrics that veer from poetic to absurdly ironic, Riba explores themes like the moon, the stars, death, love, women, the devil, and the bourgeoisie -- fueling the originality that made him such a unique artist. It's striking how naturally and effortlessly Riba incorporated the Catalan language into the rock idiom -- and vice versa.

DVD is NTSC format, region 0. The Bluebells' Sisters is a perfect snapshot of early '80s "Sound of Young Scotland": Glasgow indie pop with bittersweet spirit, sharp hooks, and heartfelt harmonies. Signing to the then-nascent London Records, and working with a procession of esteemed producers (including Elvis Costello who became a mentor and teacher to the band), The Bluebells enjoyed three UK hits in the 1980s before touring widely throughout Europe and North America, developing their live sound and signing to Seymour Stein's Sire Records in the U.S. A decade later in 1993, their "Young at Heart" hit the U.K. No 1 spot following its use as a T.V. advert for Volkswagen. This new edition of Sisters has been remastered and produced in consultation with the band, using the best audio sources available, including non-album singles and B-sides, bonus tracks from the original cassette edition and new liner notes from Will Hodgkinson. The 3CD/DVD boxset includes the most comprehensive version of the album to date, with more than 65 tracks, including: the original album; the non-album singles; the B-sides from the era; bonus tracks from the original cassette version of the album; live recordings from the era; 3 Kid Jensen/Radio One radio sessions, never previously before released; alternate and 12" versions; US versions and further alternate mixes; DVD containing fully restored music videos, and BBC performances from The Old Grey Whistle Test and Top of The Pops; expanded artwork and new liner notes from Will Hodgkinson, and 5,000 word essay by Barney Ashton-Bullock. 2LP version (LMS 1725437) contains: 26-track expanded version taking in: the original album; the non-album singles and B-sides from the era; bonus tracks from the original cassette version of the album; expanded artwork and new liner notes from Will Hodgkinson.

Havilah from The Drones is finally on vinyl since its first edition in 2008 on ATP. A great gem of swampy garage blues, largely unknown to the public, now rescued to take its rightful place. One of the last albums from this great band, which a few years later would give birth to the brilliant Tropical Fuck Storm, led by Fiona and Gareth. Bang! Records now presents the double vinyl reissue of Havilah, the fourth studio album by The Drones, originally released in 2008. A cult classic in Australian alternative rock, now returning in a limited analog edition, perfect for experiencing the raw intensity and unique energy of this essential band. An album born from isolation and introspection. Recorded in a remote sub-alpine forest cabin in Victoria, Australia, Havilah was created in total seclusion from the outside world. Without conventional electricity -- only diesel generators and sheer determination -- The Drones crafted an album deeply connected to the rugged landscape surrounding them. That untamed energy seeps into every note, giving the record an unfiltered, visceral quality that few albums can match. In Havilah, the band, led by Gareth Liddiard, expands its sonic scope, blending punk blues, noise rock, dark folk, and garage rock with raw emotional intensity. Liddiard's exceptional lyrical craft shines throughout the album, exploring mystery, doom, and existential struggles in songs that weave between allegory and stark reality. A must-have vinyl reissue. Celebrated both in Australia and internationally, Havilah was nominated for the 2008 J Award for Album of the Year and later recognized in 2011 as one of the 100 greatest Australian albums of all time.

Folk isn't exactly a genre and it isn't always an aesthetic, it's the lore that's curled around the roots of myths, ballads and anecdotes, burying itself just inches beneath the surface of contemporary culture. On their debut album, Canzonieri brush away some of the dust from Western civilization, excavating forgotten sonorities, philosophies and motifs to figure out what impact this knowledge might have on a chaotic, apocryphal modern reality. Processing familiar acoustic instruments and utilizing an arsenal of idiosyncratic self-built devices, acclaimed artist Emiliano Maggi and musical artist Cosimo Damiano -- both members of Italian surrealist quartet Salò -- survey the uneven, challenging landscape that surrounds them, calling attention to the conflicts and illusions that underpin art in all its forms. They take a widescreen view of centuries of musical evolution, juxtaposing simplicity and complexity, past and present, city life and the pull of nature to distill the essence of folk -- emotional histories that are whispered from person to person. It was while they were working together as Saló that Emiliano and Damiano realized their deep musical affinity and shared interests, so the duo decided to apply that to new music, drawing on different influences and ideas. They presented this work for the first time at an exhibition focused on the life of Arabo-Sicilian poet Al-Ballanūbī; Emiliano had used Al-Ballanūbī's foundational love poems to inform his sculptures, and invited Damiano to collaborate on a soundtrack. The experience drew them further into the history of verse, leading them towards Sayat-Nova's Armenian songbook and Pier Paolo Passolini's Il Canzoniere Italiano, and Canzonieri was born. Improvising and bending their performance to whatever space they have access to, Canzonieri fuse electroacoustic experimentation with classical minimalism, neofolk, prog rock and surrealist chamber pop, using these various concepts to guide their lyrical, free-floating ruminations. Featuring Maria Violenza and Lara Dâmaso.

"Sharpie Smile's debut album has one question for you: is your heart good enough to take The Staircase? Sharpie Smile is Dylan Hadley and Cole Berliner. They met in 2015, a pair of musically-adept nonconformist teenagers, forming a songwriting and performance duo. Writing initially for a project called Kamikaze Palm Tree, with Dylan on drums and Cole on guitar, they produced two albums of thorny, earwormy art-rock. While continuing to play shows and write, there was some session work with other acts (Cate Le Bon, A. Savage, Tim Presley's White Fence). And then a shimmering new direction came into view. For Sharpie Smile, that direction is up. The Staircase is a lush and energizing contemporary pop record, scaling an ambitious gradient of minimal/maximal electronic production and deep feels. It's a dreamy and ethereal trip through something (you're not sure what yet), on a radiant melodic raft. Reality is breaking and rebirth is happening, one piece at a time -- essential questions deconstructed and pieced together again. Like scanning a new x-ray image of yourself. Finding is losing something else; there's the shadow of 'goodbye' here, too. When Dylan sings 'There is nothing I won't miss' on 'Love or Worship,' you feel broken up -- but if the breakup is with the old way of life (it is), then getting over the hump will provide its own sweet reward. Sharpie Smile's passage there is one of sensuous breaths and serpentine soul-terrain, as Dylan's blue vocal melodies drift glacially through a luminous wilderness of synth keys, guitars and percussion beats, cutting the melancholy milieu of New Romantic pop in sharp new relief. On The Staircase, Sharpie Smile ascend through waves of sound art in a sophisticated musical craft all their own. Inspired by SOPHIE, 100 gecs, Oklou, and other insane futurists, they allow the feeling of discovery to free their evolution, whenever needed. Their collaborators help facilitate and guide their astonishing transformations: The Staircase was engineered and produced by Cesar Maria, with additional engineering by Spencer Hartling, additional vocal engineering and production by Cairo Marques-Neto and mixing by Mikey Weiland. You're in the eye of the storm. A refuge from the unrelenting, where the journey to clarity can be glimpsed, accessed and shared."

Butterfly Records presents a vinyl reissue of Radio Babilonia, the fourth electrifying studio album by Uruguayan band Traidores. The album was originally released on CD and cassette in 1995 and it stands as one of the most representative works of their career. In Radio Babilonia voices of Juan Casanova and Víctor Nattero converge into a symphony of intense emotions and profound reflections. Each note resonates with their musical legacy, rising as a testament to the reality that surrounded them, where pain and beauty intertwine in a powerful auditory experience. With a style that defies convention, their lyrics transport listeners to a world of poetic chronicles, inviting them to explore the catastrophes of the present and future through their vibrant and critical lens. This album from 1995 is a masterpiece for those who seek an authentic and moving sound -- a sonic journey that reflects its time and makes a bold statement. Songs like "Máquina" and "Crónica del Sur" explore inner turmoil and fracture realities, wrapped in melodic brilliance and sharp arrangements. Nattero's guitar work shines, especially in tracks like "Ella sabe bien" and "Pasajero de un tren," where a sense of déjà vu echoes through the lyrics. Side A closes with the haunting waltz "Como una plegaria," evoking blood-stained devotion. Side B deepens the album's mystique, offering lucid hope through punk anthems like "Enemigo del mundo" and "Fragmentos de mí." It culminates in the defiant "Canción rebelde." Traidores channel poetic rage into a powerful, redemptive soundtrack for a disenchanted era.

From the whirlwind year of 1971 comes the sole album by Plum Nelly, an underrated gem in the world of U.S. progressive hard rock. Deceptive Lines is a masterclass in complex arrangements, jazzy touches, and searing proto-metal guitar riffs, drawing comparisons to legends like The Allman Brothers, Pink Floyd, and Black Sabbath. The album seamlessly blends heartfelt ballads with hard-hitting psych epics and electrifying guitar-driven jams. Despite the band's undeniable talent -- these young New Yorkers were barely out of their teens -- poor promotion left this record flying under the radar upon its original release. But this reissue is here to change that, giving Deceptive Lines the spotlight it deserves and ensuring this hard rock classic is no longer a hidden treasure.

"Tim Barnes is a storied drummer, engineer and producer whose CV encompasses collaborations with a serious who's-who of late 20th and early 21st century music. Most well known as one of the two drummers (alongside Glenn Kotche) on Jim O'Rourke's seminal late '90s and early 2000s recordings, Tim has recorded, performed and collaborated with Tony Conrad, Faust, Alan Licht, P.G. Six, Silver Jews, Sonic Youth, Stereolab, The Tower Recordings, Ken Vandermark, Wilco, John Zorn, and countless other artists working at the forward edge of improvised and experimental music. For many years he was the proprietor of the boutique Quakebasket label, which documented much of this music, as well as reissuing seminal works by Angus MacLise, the original drummer for the Velvet Underground. Now, the Quakebasket imprint has been revived to issue music Tim has recorded over the last several years with collaborators from throughout his music career. In 2021, Tim was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's at the age of 54, and he and his family went public with this immediately. The response from Tim's network of friends and musical peers was overwhelming, but the lingering shutdown meant only remote and long-distance interactions were possible. Beginning in late 2021, a large body of recordings coordinated and assembled by Tim's longtime friend Ken (Bundy) Brown, with whom Tim had worked in the past as a member of the group Pullman, early pioneers of the new Americana movement in the indie scene of the late '90s. Lost Words features the playing of Joshua Abrams, Ken Brown, David Daneill, Darin Gray, David Grubbs, Glenn Kotche, Tara Jane O'Neil, Jim O'Rourke, Ken Vandermark and Britt Walford. Alongside its companion album, Noumena, Lost Words represents the culmination of years of work and demonstrates Tim's infectious energy and depth as a percussionist across a broad sweep of styles."

Before they were The Dwarves, these Highland Park misfits tore through the '80s as Suburban Nightmare, unleashing A Hard Day's Nightmare -- a raw garage-punk blast now reissued on vinyl (only 500 copies!). Their chaos began with fuzzed-out riffs, snotty vocals, and a high school expulsion for staging a nude art stunt. Soon after, they became The Dwarves, moved to San Francisco, and never looked back. Raw, wild, and real -- grab this limited reissue before it's gone! The band's infamy kicked off in 1983, when they were expelled from high school for hiring teen art models to pose nude with bowls of fruit on their heads during a pep rally. A year later, Suburban Nightmare was born, and the notorious Skull and Boners logo -- courtesy of underground artist Jon Straus -- sealed the deal. A Hard Day's Nightmare is more than just a teenage punk artifact -- it's the unfiltered blueprint of a band about to go off the rails and onto cult status.

"Numena is the second volume of music capturing percussionist Tim Barnes in a variety of collaborative settings recorded in extraordinary circumstances over the past few years. Tim is a storied drummer, engineer and producer whose CV encompasses collaborations with a who's who of late 20th and early 21st century music. He has recorded, performed and collaborated with countless artists, including Tony Conrad, Faust, Alan Licht, Jim O'Rourke, P.G. Six, Silver Jews, Sonic Youth, Stereolab, The Tower Recordings, Ken Vandermark, Wilco, John Zorn and many others. Through 2014, he was the proprietor of the boutique Quakebasket label, which documented a variety of projects at the forward edge of improvised and experimental music, including Tim's duo with Glenn Kotche, On Fillmore. Now, Quakebasket has been revived to issue Noumena and its companion album, Lost Words. In 2021, Tim was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's at the age of 54, and he and his family went public with this immediately. The response from Tim's network of friends and musical peers was overwhelming, and beginning in late 2021, collaborative recordings were undertaken, coordinated and assembled by Tim's longtime friend Ken (Bundy) Brown, with whom Tim had worked in the past as a member of the group Pullman, early pioneers of the new Americana movement in the indie scene of the late '90s. The recordings for Noumena feature the playing of Joshua Abrams, Oren Ambarchi, Ken Brown, John Dieterich, Darin Gray, Glenn Kotche, Robert Carlos Lange, Ro(b)//ert Lundberg, Douglas McCombs, Matt Mehlan, Rob Mazurek, Tara Jane O'Neil, Jim O'Rourke, Chad Taylor, Thollem, Britt Walford and Mike Watt. As with Lost Words, Noumena cuts a dramatic swath through a sweep of music styles, all of which are deepened by Tim's versatile, intensely stimulated percussive feel."

LP version. Blue color vinyl. "Metallic Life Review is the sound of two people who have collected field recordings of metal objects from around the world for years of their lives together, collaging their magpie hoard into rhythmic patterns, sometimes writing melodies and basslines, but sometimes just letting sound be sound. Patient gathering yields to ADHD editing. Painstakingly made but blink and you'll miss it. Is it music or is it noise? It is without a doubt exceptionally beautiful music wrought from metal detritus. By employing the strong contrast between a harsh industrial clatter-fest and a sweeter melodic dimension that acts as a deliberate counterforce, Matmos created an album that is utterly delightful. A 'life review' is a phrase used to describe the psychological phenomena reported by people who have survived near death experiences: the sense captured in the phrase 'my life flashed before my eyes.' Metallic Life Review is a kind of compressed fast-forward of Matmos' career with a sonic parade of the metallic objects from their lives. The sounds on the album were captured over the entire length of the existence of Matmos as a band. Metallic Life Review features Susan Alcorn's pedal steel, Owen Gardner's glockenspiel, Thor Harris' drumming, Jason Willett's (Half Japanese) guitar, and Jeff Carey's aluminum cans, which were melted, molded into custom aluminum rods, and then bowed and struck. The most dramatic difference from any previous Matmos album is that side two was recorded 'live in the studio,' ala Throbbing Gristle's Heathen Earth. For the first time on recording, Matmos capture the evolving, shifting, slithering dynamic that happens when they play live and let patterns emerge out of chaos and then collapse and then re-form. Their playful blend of compositional brilliance and improvisational playfulness meld perfectly, truly capturing ecstatic moments in a way that can only happen live. Metallic Life Review is a love story transmuted into sound, the result of a life filled with curiosity and powered by boundless exploration. Matmos have again made something spellbinding, brilliant and emotionally resonant.
"The two men of Matmos are living rebukes to the idea that conceptual art is somehow scary and inaccessible. When they decide to make a track out of the sounds of a breast implant or a cow uterus, they're challenging themselves not just to use those noises, but to make them sound funky and fun." --Pitchfork
"Drew Daniel and Martin Schmidt have been making music together for so long, and that their music has been so consistently good for so long really is remarkable." --The Quietus, album of the week

LP version. Tricatel presents Rémi Klein's debut studio album, Friend In Need. Behind his keyboards, between the walls of his bedroom or in studio, Rémi Klein fashions music that is both intimate and generous, instinctive and precise. He is a craftsman who composes, arranges and produces with obsessive meticulousness. Playing with LORD$, Please, and now Clara Luciani, he built up a collective experience before recording his own album. Signed to Tricatel, his first album, Friend In Need, is a plunge into his cinematic universe, where the lush orchestrations of Hollywood's golden age rub shoulders with the best of songwriting. His music and songs, rooted in the present and the future, are visceral and innovative. It's the music of today and tomorrow at its most promising and audacious. There are a million new tracks a week on streaming platforms, no two albums like Friend in Need, and no two artists like Rémi Klein.
