INTAC 023EP
|
Intacto welcomes back Amsterdam duo Polder aka Lauhaus & David Labeij, one of Holland's most renowned techno/house outfits. For this release, they've created two great, mood-lifting tech house melodies: "Zero Zero" is an upbeat delight of squelching, stabbing and sweeping synths, cheeky drums and banging bass beats to leave the dancefloor breathless. "Green Sunday" is an evolving epic of distant vocals and stabbing, electric keys, bolstered with a pumping kick. Perfect for any club night.

This is the debut full-length release by Polder, one of the biggest duos in the currently very hot Dutch minimal techno scene. Members David Labeij and Lauhaus have had a huge impact on the scene with big smashers like Strange Ways and Top Drop on 2000 and One's 100% Pure imprint. Played out by the likes of Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Paco Osuna, Karotte and Loco Dice. The album Poldermodel is quite an appropriate name for the bunch of killer tracks on the label, which resulted in a collection of older and new material, all built around the infamous Polder groove. This record shows their wide and varied taste in techno and house music. All track names on the album refer to persons and places only known to the Polder guys. The CD version of Poldermodel is a continuous live mix, featuring all six tracks from the vinyl plus two previous releases from the Intacto catalog.
