With Australia's dance music scene being more prolific than ever, it's only fitting that one of the continent's hottest tickets appears in the Running Back universe. Sam Alfred's debut on its subsidiary Misfit Melodies melts the old with the new, swings the hips with the hits and unites the past with the future. The man with the adorable underground white label MP3 Shine II Dawn under his belt, is not only a DJ to die for, but also a witty, interesting and most of all enchanting studio talent. Aptly titled Roadblocks, this five-track-EP once more underlines his appeal: his-speed house and sprinkles of retro rave meet the melodies of tomorrow.
