"Releasing for the first time on Paradigma Musik, two young artists from the Italian port city of Livorno or (in English) Leghorn, have united under the techno alias Alicanuel for the imprint's sixteenth edition. Ilario Alicante, one half of Alicanuel, was practically born with a passion for music which ultimately resulted in 10 releases -- including the successful Living Near Africa, released in 2008 on Cecille Records. His work is respected and played by the legendary likes of Sven Väth, Ricardo Villalobos, Marco Carola, Luciano, Nick Curly, and many more. Ilario's current base in Berlin has had a powerful influence on much of his work. Ilario's musical half is none other than the eccentric, Emmanuel Beddewela, currently residing in Italy. Testing all musical boundaries, Emmanuel bears a strong stance in the contemporary underground techno and house scene. The sounds and melodies echoed in his work stem back to the very music of his ancestry. Paradigma bagged a mound of talent on this number including a festive two-sider comprised of 'Tagonga,' a romantic upbeat track with violins and recorders weaved throughout its course and 'As Warm As You Can,' moderately mirroring its counterpart using modern instrumentals. Both genial tracks reveal Ilario's fervent deep house grooves and Emmanuel's old country etno-folk melodies."
