London-based DJ and producer Joseph Ashworth has unveiled his captivating new single Breathe on Disco Halal. Taken from the forthcoming EP of the same name, "Breathe" showcases Joseph Ashworth's emotive, atmospheric brand of electronica. Featuring the delicate vocals of Vanity Fairy, no fewer than three versions of the track feature on the hotly anticipated EP, as well as further tracks "Alternator" and "Expectation." 2019 was a year where Joseph Ashworth's music took a turn to the left-field, combining a darker edge and catching the attention of DJ Tennis, who released his Trooper EP (LAD 041EP, 2019) on his Life & Death imprint. A stand-out release championed by the likes of Sven Vath and Adriatique, it has come to cement his position as a unique talent at the top of his game.

DJ Tennis' highly acclaimed Life and Death imprint continues to traverse sonic boundaries with no exception. The next release, Trooper EP comes from London-based producer Joseph Ashworth, featuring outstanding remixes from the inimitable Ron Trent and founder of Margot Records, Sebra Cruz. Ashworth says, "Trooper EP pushes a new sound that I have been exploring - with grit and excitement taking charge rather than finesse and tidiness. It makes me think of some kind of disturbing military march, a little bit aggressive and a little bit noisy, hence the name."
