Therapy is a new experimental electronic music album by Alexandre Bazin that explores musical research on the edge of ambient music, with a reminder of classical music. His instrumental music revolves around sonic textures, saturations, and feedback, allowing new fragments to emerge to create melodies, timbres and tone colors. The saturated sounds recall the presence of the electric guitar, encompassing orchestral materials and acoustic instruments which are the basis of this album, with the exception of the first two tracks, which are solo synthesizer pieces. The first to open the album is a solo by Synthi A, and the second by Buchla Music Easel.

On this album, his third work published on Umor Rex, the French producer Alexandre Bazin takes what he started in Four Steps (Umor Rex 2022) to the maximum point. However, on Innervision, there is no longer that discreet flirtation towards the dance floor. Instead, the ten cuts that make up the album are influenced by musical research and the UK and Berlin electronic scene. Bazin's new proposal revolves around sound textures, saturations, feedback, autosampling, and cut and tuned sounds, allowing new melodic elements to emerge in the process, akin to a live act. While maintaining his minimalist exploration and obsession with melody and structure, Innervision undoubtedly marks a turning point in Bazin's discography. It is epic, compelling, euphoric, utterly enjoyable, and at times violently beautiful. The album was composed and mixed by Alexandre Bazin at Château Rouge, Paris, and mastered by Rafael Anton Irisarri at Black Knoll, New York. François Desmoulins played the acoustic drums on "Four Steps (Remix)". The artwork for the album was created by Daniel Castrejón in Mexico City.

Paris-based producer Alexandre Bazin returns to Umor Rex with another side to his music approach. If in Full Moon (2016) he explored the analog electronic music merged with classical minimalism, in this new work, Bazin dives into totally rhythmic terrains while maintaining his devotion to electronic exploration and acoustic drums. Four Steps even rubs shoulders without discretion with techno music and the dancefloor, and retains his refined obsession with melody and structure. In these pieces, Bazin lends space to electronic soundscapes, experimentation, and computer programming, everything derived from precise compositions. With melodies created with Buchla Music Easel, EMS Synthi, among other instruments, Four Steps -- through the drone and ambient music -- crosses roads with elegant and infinite techno loops. The album is a four-track EP released in vinyl 12" in 45 rpm, finely mastered by John Tejada with a focal point in harmonics and dimension, offering an exquisite hi-fidelity experience even for the digital lossless audience. Alexandre Bazin has been a member of the France GRM (Groupe de Recherches Musicales) since 2005. Composed and mixed by Alexandre Bazin at Château Rouge. Drums in "Four Steps III" by François Desmoulins. Mastered by John Tejada in Sherman Oaks. Artwork and photos by Daniel Castrejón in Mexico City. Die-cut sleeve; 45rpm; includes download code; edition of 300.

Alexandre Bazin's second album for Cassauna is a compelling minimal/experimental/electronic album consisting of one piece separated into several movements for the purpose of stronger narrative and aesthetic coherence. The album explores the concept of percussion and resonance through the spectrum of electronic frequencies and densities with a plunge into the sound. Percussion-Resonance makes use of a new alphabet, a simple vocabulary in order to create innovative and personal music, with a clear and emotional subject. Structured architectural sequences give way to the experimental. Different climaxes punctuate the work in order to keep grabbing the listener's attention. The record title tackles the theme of musique concrète developed by French composer Pierre Schaeffer as well a nod to Bernard Parmegiani's De Natura Sonorum. Alexandre Bazin is a member of the Groupe de Recherches Musicales better known as the GRM, for which he writes documentaries about music for Radio France. He is passionate about experimental music and more specifically the electronic music created by Bernard Parmegiani, Iannis Xenakis, Pan Sonic, Fennesz, Alva Noto, and Ryoji Ikeda.

Alexandre Bazin is a member of the Groupe de Recherches Musicales, better known as the GRM, for which he writes documentaries about music for the radio. Due to his background as a classical and jazz pianist, Alexandre Bazin is also passionate about instrumental music by the likes of Steve Reich, Erik Satie, Brian Eno. This album attempts to synthesize these two worlds that are so dear to the composer, either in symbiosis or in opposition to one another with simple and loose melodies as its main theme. The use of analog synthesizers and acoustic sounds are at the heart of the composer's creative process. "Oceans" was written for marimba, piano, and Buchla Music Easel, in four movements around the theme of the ocean. Simple and loose melodies, played on piano and Buchla. They rotate around the marimba which evokes breathing and the rhythm of the swell. Suspended melodies reminiscent of generative music although in this case they are an improvisation around a simple motif. The piece was performed by Alexandre Bazin on piano, Buchla Music Easel and marimba, as well as Gabriel Benlolo on marimba, a member of the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra. "The Deserter": Not escaping a situation to flee but to be physically freed from it. The response manifests itself through the breath, heartbeat and the act of running. Beyond a moral necessity, it becomes a physical necessity that cannot be contained. Your natural defenses provoke this sudden urge. Your body cannot be contained through inaction. Our bodies in action escape all control, in order to free ourselves from the time that is limited to us. A piece for percussion, electric organ, and Buchla Music Easel. "Dream-Land": A piece that borrows its titles from Edgar Allan Poe's poem. In the spirit of the GRM's acousmatic works, such as "L'Enfer" by Bernard Parmegiani or "Suite pour Edgar Poe" by Guy Reibel. Alexandre Bazin, a member of the GRM, wrote music inspired by this mysterious, perhaps imaginary land, at the edge of the human spirit, where a lonesome traveler walks among the shadows, advancing through harsh and hostile nature.

Alexandre Bazin is a composer and a current member of GRM, based in Paris. As an experimentalist music researcher, Bazin's compositional projects are primarily concerned with a very personal seal on a music with emotional power. With Sun Dog Trail, Alex merged several inspirations; Firstly, the influence of experimental electronic music, and more specifically a tribute to Bernard Parmegiani. Secondly, the influence of the blues with musicians like John Lee Hooker and Muddy Waters. The end result is an experience that combines Bazin's usual musical fusions with experimental and blues forms, taking the listener on multiple adventurous journeys. For this album Alex used rare instruments such as an EMS VCS3 synth, Buchla Music Easel, Minimoog, and Cristal Baschet. Vinyl-only; Edition of 400.
