"Giants. Blueberry Hill's steps are confident and comparable to those of a giant. Three years after their debut release Thanks -- produced by Carlos Raya (Fito y Fitipaldis, M Clan, Quique González), mastered by Richard Dodd (George Harrison, Johnny Cash, Tom Petty) and featuring the cooperation of Garth Hudson (The Band) -- they now give us Giants. Giants was recorded in Reykjavik (Iceland) by Sturla 'Mio' Thorisson at Greenhouse Studios (Bjork, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, CocoRosie) at the end of 2007. After a year of intense work with Mio's recorded material, this new album features 12 tracks written by this quintet from Barcelona. They play with all the styles that give them the chance to do what they do best: write beautiful songs. While on Thanks the influences were American rock and country rock, Giants spreads the word by mixing in a whole musical rainbow of colours. Soundtracks and quiet landscapes are the influences of these 12 new songs, where you can find solace in pieces like 'K.O. BCN' or 'Autumn,' going through the auto-irony of 'Country Is Dead' or the Beach Boys-sounding title track 'Giants.' Being always of interest, having received very good reviews by media and the general public with their debut work, they sure will cause impact with this second release. Welcome to a world where illusion and know-how are those of a giant!" Gatefold sleeve
