Lullabies is the new audiovisual album by Camilla Sparksss, aka Barbara Lehnhoff, electro-noise pop musician, Swiss-Canadian visual artist and co- founder of post-punk band Peter Kernel. The album is a collection of eight bedtime stories for adults, composed of endless grooves, mellotron and spoken word. An ode to our inner child. The album contrasts sonically with Camilla Sparksss's previous high-energy albums, yet is fully in keeping with her art-punk approach and remains authentically vibrant. The vinyl comes with a magic mirror designed by the artist. By placing the mirror on the record, the animations come to life at 45 rpm. In an age of digital overload, this album had to be purely analog, physical and real. An album that the public can discover in a natural environment, without having to look at a screen.
