This Diary, an Upon You compilation, is the third of its kind and is presented as a retrospective. Featured are a collection of ancestral artists like Marco Resmann, ONNO, Magit Cacoon and Gunnar Stiller, as well as external ones like Chris Wood & Meat, Alland Byallo, Canson, Skinnerbox, Madmotormiquel and Ante Perry. Compiled by The Cheapers, who provided their track "Memories" for this project. The two have been collecting exclusive tracks from Upon You artists as well as friends to create an assembly that covers the colorful spectrum of Upon You: deep, classic, jiggly, thriving, crooked and sometimes a little poppy. In comparison to the parent Diarys, the two Cheapers tried to add a more personal note by not only including their worn-out passport photos on the cover but also utilizing the tracks in a delicious mix. What could be better than to consume a nice mix of 19 tracks on the couch while rummaging in a booklet designed with love? Whoever wants to hear the last track from Ruede Hagelstein And The Noblettes has to buy the CD because it is exclusive only here. Other artists include: Jules & Moss, Denis Horvat, Emerson Todd, Samuel Dan, Brian Cares, and Sierra Sam & Pascal Hetzel.

The title of this release from The Cheapers references a quote from Paris Hilton who used the word "amazeballs" to define how super-cool she finds things. The title track features a concise bass line which will make people squeak. On the B-side things turn a bit more severe: "Egyptian Summer" takes samples from the Arabic spring in Africa to produce a revolutionary mood. On "Same Same" there are Cheapersesque absurdities on the microphone that sound like the belly of a hungry electro monster.

The Cheapers present No Groupies And Ugly Dancers, a message directed at the mean-faced ravers that lurk in dark club corners. They light a "Bonfire" on A1, dancing around the fire like crazed polka-shamans, until the final minimal priest has thrown his Bible into the embers. Next, they attack the unwashed go-go's, hobby strippers and "Ugly Dancers," eventually reaching out and apologizing to the shy and quiet real music lovers that like to sway dreamily on B2.

"The travel reports of the Wilderness EP Part 1 & 2 follows a documentation of a time when The Cheapers were together in a dark vault and they were only attending the on-going outer world through a 'white hole.' In Chapter A1 they report about the mundane mess that interfuses through the small opening into their facultative dungeon. They aim towards their profile and fill their surface with melody and intoxication. B1 describes bass eruptions in front of the 'White House' and while buzzing, pouring oil onto the strings of their piano, to prove the efficiency of renewable sound energies. Their mission was successfully kept a secret until rising winds released the manuscript, blowing them out of the darkness to the CD of the current Groove-Magazine. Finally all parts are official and available on Upon You Records."

"Once upon a time there was the Wilderness EP Part 1. What follows is the second band of this furturist music fairy tail-continuing the journey through the dark forests and gardens of The Cheapers in which the 'Hunter' on A1 claims his territory and eagerly is looking out for bass-devils in heat. Thereby the fun drunken rifleman shoots down the rave-bird and even a flock of house-sparrows are being stampeded into the underwood. On the other side of the forest play the busy intricate bees in the vaults of the 'Fortress' on its mystical fantasy plug ins and a bewitched quake is coming through the deep B1- cracks until the magic tree of dreams starts to flourish."

"After the big success of their debut Fog + Frogs EP, The Cheapers are releasing their second EP on Upon You Records. Wilderness Part 1 is meant to be one part of two planned maxis in which Ruede Hagelstein and Fraenzen Texas introduce us to their quirky head-cinema. It all starts with 'Bedrock,' a piece in which the two crest the cheap mountains with their tricycle serving the rise into the valley of the flashed. They explore with us the dark caves on B2, in which they nourish from quantinum echoes and feedback loops. They dig deep holes that one can only taste in the dark and descend from the highest tree top of blasphemy in the shallow blurred electronic ideology of tomorrow. Welcome to Cheaptopia."
