Amanda Christos was born and raised in London and has played in a number of bands on rhythm guitar, including her own group, Ancestral Home. In 1989, after travelling to Jamaica, Amanda wrote her first reggae track called "A Song of Freedom." In 1994 her first single "Love" was released under her name Amanda Judah (Eurete Christos), followed by "The Gift of Life" in 2004. Amanda toured in the Caribbean and Africa with Emashi, a singing and dance group, and went on to perform vocal harmonies with a Bob Marley tribute band. In 2013 her first full album Roots of Rectitude was released, followed by an EP The Food of Life. In 2019 "Wild World (Stevie P remix)" claimed the number one spot in the Stevie J Stingdem Radio Chart Show. Amanda's musical adventures continued during the Pandemic and lockdown of 2020 where she continued to write, compose and perform. In 2022 Amanda linked with Leon Leiffer (The Blackstones) who formed a bridge to Alien Dread and Iron Sound Records, working in unison to produce this new album, Together We Are Beautiful.
