Henry Franklin known for solo albums The Skipper and The Skipper at Home on cult label Blackjazz Records also toured with recorded with Hugh Masekela, Freddie Hubbard, Bobbi Humphrey, Willie Bobo, Don Cherry, Count Basie, Stevie Wonder and Roy Ayers and has been sampled by the musical group A Tribe Called Quest.
