KOM EX091EP
Miami-based DJ and producer Danny Daze debuted on Kompakt with a masterfully twisted remix of Gui Boratto's "Take Control" in 2014 (KOM 302EP) and turned heads with the raw and muscular Speicher 80 (KOM EX080EP) the same year. Here, he delivers two more exercises in off-the-cuff mayhem and grace, with the face-melting uberjam "Swim" kicking off a weird and wonderful parade of synth riffs, belting beats, and pure arpeggio anarchy. The flipside is held hostage by the razor-sharp, robotic funk of "Machine," Danny Daze's second collaboration with Translucent for Speicher after the hard-hitting "Speaker Language" on Speicher 80.

KOM EX080EP
For Speicher 80, Miami-based DJ/producer Danny Daze presents two powerful cuts where heady playfulness and dreamy ambience meet the raw energy of muscular bass lines and bouncing beats. "Freeze" proves to be an immensely bendy, yet vigorous floor-charmer that deliberately lets its propulsive rhythm patterns overgrow with swelling pads and epic synths. A true dance chameleon, Danny ventures further into la-la land with "Speaker Language," a ridiculously infectious groove setting the scene for Transluscent's empowering vocal interjections. Together, these cuts make for a hell of a ride -- two heat-seeking missiles on their way to the center of the dancefloor.

LVX 005EP
Jimmy Edgar's blossoming Ultramajic imprint presents an EP of fiercely visceral club music from U.S.-based producer Danny Daze. A self-confessed lover of classic electro, these three tracks contain the mechanical aesthetics and skewed sonics of the labels he holds close to his heart, while packing an undeniable punch that will see these drawn for time and time again.
