Roebin de Freitas shows us the wound of meritocracy and consumerism that we have been ignoring and opens it using dancefloor material with hints of industrial, ambient, and IDM. "Borderline Times" creates enough energy to keep you moving while at the same time giving space for a more ambient mindset before metallic percussion and tormented pads take over. "Stuck Midway" is high-energy techno layered with bass and percussion, with a distorted melody reminiscent of early rave techno while capturing today's pulse. The various bleeps and eerie chirps of "Kopzorgen" go hand-in-hand with syncopated rhythms and create a hypnotic, playful atmosphere.

Roebin De Freitas' two original tracks spread out between the classic techno floor-filler "Twitch" and "Doubt," a hybrid take on techno and IDM. On remix duties is Irish duo Lakker with their serious twist on "Doubt," transforming it into a 105 BPM post-house rework that comes from outer space. Stanislav Tolkachev unleashes his trademark techno on his remix of "Twitch," which sounds like being stuck in a maze with its quirky and twitching arpeggios and percussion loops.
