Trapez welcomes the duo Alexi Delano & Xpansul. Santiago Ferrer Rapp aka Xpansul from Madrid has released on Plus 8 and Leftroom plus numerous Spanish labels. Alexi Delano is a techno legend who has released numerous big time club records since 1995. In 2006, Delano and Xpansul met in Madrid to create two EPs that left footprints on the minimal techno scene. The first EP, Intelligence Reframed, was released on Richie Hawtin's Plus 8 label and the second, Swimming In A Fish Bowl, came out on Adam Beyer's Truesoul recordings. Un As Bajo La Manga features a groundbreaking symbiosis of crazy, rhythmic madness, driving sequences and insane dynamics.

Alexi Delano and Santi "Xpansul" Ferrer met in 2004 in Madrid and have been recording together since. This is their debut on Plus 8. Intelligence Reframed rattles and rolls in true Plus 8 dancefloor spirit, shifting in precise yet animated techno. "Echolocation" sends a driving but relaxed beat into a sinister zone of space. "Cosmic Antipathy" grooves along with its electro stabs, square-wave bubbles and cosmic tones. "Vegetotherapy" takes a slightly industrialized attitude, while "Meta-Intellectual" tosses up layers of shadow melodies and manic loops of metallic percussion. This is a pair to be reckoned with.
