"Windmill" features the soulful vocal talents of London-based Afiya. Her voice transfixes, meandering and drifting over waves of gently probing breakbeats and a grainy synth melody line to powerfully emotive effect. More wistful and somber still, "Devotion" combines ghostly atmospherics with the chilling vocal and violin contributions of accomplished LA-based musician Alicia Kiah. Sunken ripples of sub-bass lurk beneath her violin strokes and the insistently swaying percussion, creating a mournful yet beautiful piece of music.
