Fango returns to Degustibus with his first vocal track! Seduced by the hook on "Eyes of An Assassin" by Young & Restless, he's transformed it into an essential killer track by re-working the vocal through his signature pounding kicks, lo-fi sounds, and tension-gathering breakdown. The B-Side (Instrumental and Acapella) is only available on this vinyl.

Fango's debut EP for Running Back draws a map of the Italian's wonderful world of sounds. To help music journalists in their ongoing search for new genres, it's a planet that consist of techno punk, EBM house and outsider disco. ed by the unbroken fascination with all things dinosaurs (no pun intended) that Fango shared with his son, reading books, watching documentaries and visiting museums, he found a new place and created a sound for it. If you have ever looked for a danceable soundtrack that resembles strange dinosaurs, dark clouds, active volcanoes and powerful winds, you have finally found it. Aptly named after four different dinosaurs, this EP consists of the irresistible uplifting vibe that is "Sarcosuco" and its sweet and melancholic counterpart "Diplodoco," while the slow-motion rave "Dimetrodonte" and "Gastonia" mirror Fango's darker and tool-like character. All in all, it's like watching a dinosaur mosh pit from space. Special artwork by Luca Zamoc.

This is the second chapter of the E Dee series, here what it is about in Fango's own words: "Around three years ago I became a father and that changed my life. This series is about my son's world seen through my eyes: the innersleeve artwork was made by him and the mouth on the label is his. All the titles of this second chapter are also taken from Carlo's own dictionary: 'E Dee' is the first sound he used to make trying to communicate, it could mean many things. 'Babu' is the evolution of 'Babuke' (in the first volume) Dad, 'Didda Dae' is a kind of song that he invented, 'Allullu Azzo' is the name used by Camilla to call Carlo."

Lento, the first release of Fangodischi. A slow track, 115 bpm. An obsessive hammering over a dystopian rhythmic layer that reaches its climax exploding in a drum roll, like a cleansing fire. An industrial sound, whiffs of steam, disturbing metallic noise. A recall to the core of Fangodischi and the dual vision the artist has of his homeland: Venice, a "Disneyland" for tourists, and Marghera with its industries and poisons. Two faces of the same medal.

After a steady stream of successful underground dancefloor stables via his Viscera EP series (DEGU 020EP/022EP/023EP) and last year climbing the charts with his remixes, Fango returns with his second album titled Gea. Set for release via Degustibus Music, Gea is a ten-track trip of eclectic electronica panning across various moods and tempos. Flexing his matured production credits, Fango fuses rock, disco, and psychedelic influences, meticulously put together on his machines resulting in a spectrum of sounds to satisfy most palettes. It's a serenade from Gea to Ouranos, the Greek gods of earth and sky.

While producing the Viscera trilogy, Fango has tried to understand something about himself. In order to do this, he had to enter into his own body, just like Dante entered hell, studying and analyzing himself from the inside, diving through organs, guts and grey matter. This helped him in the creation of three devastating and introspective EPs, but a lot of questions are still unsolved. Viscera 3/3 is the last leg of a journey that disrupted 2016 and marks the beginning of a new absurd phase for Fango.

Fango's non-traditional journey through the human body continues. After the first essay on interior organs Viscera 1/3 (DEGU 020EP, 2016), it's now the turn of the central nervous system to be analyzed. And here comes "Cerebellum", "Nervum" and "Cortex", three delicate operations of surgery on the inner workings of Fango's head. Part two of the Viscera trilogy that Fango conceived on the physicality of music, these are tracks that are going straight to your heart, to your stomach and so on. In this case it's your brain and hopefully it gives you a nervous breakdown.

The ancient Haruspex used to read chicken liver in a bid to predict the future and foresee natural disasters. Taking influence from this technic, Fango embarked on a long insular trip, reflecting down till the depths of his own soul. The outcome of this arcane ritual is Viscera, a series of three EPs focused on the pure essence of Fango's artistic delirium. Here is the first of the series, Viscera 1/3.

Fango presents an EP of remixes of tracks from his 2015 Tuono album (DEGU 001CD/016EP). Rebolledo's remix of "Dritto" premiered on Maceo Plex's BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix; it's a driving track that expertly draws out the original's drama. Norwegian DJ extraordinaire and space disco heavyweight Prins Thomas remixes "Saetta" with warm, funk-tinged basslines complemented by driving synths and Latin folk guitar elements. Prins Thomas's remix of "Tuono" wraps the original around a driving bassline and horn synth textures. Magazine cofounders Barnt and Jens-Uwe Beyer open their remix of "Tei" with a cinematic flute before kicking up the percussion.

Fango didn't sleep for six months. He and his studio became one to conceive Tuono. You'll want to play each and every one of these tracks on your dancefloors, but more than that, if you listen to it in its entirety you'll realize that Tuono is a tale that Fango is telling us, directly from his cinematic world built on colossal drums and wild clanks. Open the creaking door if you dare. Includes four tracks from the 2015 Tuono 2x12" (DEGU 016EP): "Tuono," "Lampo," "Dritto," and "Folgore."

Fango is a virtuous perfectionist, obsessed with mixing bass drums, recording percussion, and sampling drummers. It doesn't matter if it's a drum machine or a gong from an orchestra, he will make it sound right. His first release N1 on Degusitbus Music was an instant success among the clubbing scene, turning dancefloors into ritual sessions. The same goes for his remix of "Aguirre" by Batongo, an ode to the wilderness of the Amazon jungle. Test his recordings on a proper system and judge for yourself.
