One-sided white-label 10" in a limited edition of 300 copies. Fantastic Mr. Fox is back, in the run up to a 2015 album, dropping another slice of broken electronic pop -- this time teaming up with U.S. isolationist and icy-voiced songwriter Kid A. Here Fantastic Mr. Fox delivers his trademark frosted heartbreak chords with a grime lilt on the drums and low-end. Includes the deft remix skills of grime leader Visionist, who adds his own low-slung take on FMF's fractalized funk.

The Black Acre big boss returns with his own distinct hunter/gatherer take on house music. Here he drops two oddball DJ weapons. "The Trap" is the Full Monty Fantastic Mr. Fox crate-haunter featuring fearless soul sample jacking, steam-driven percussion and trademarked tangy chords. "Jackal Youth" on the flip finally outs and assassinates Mr. Fox's not-so-secret alter ego. Breathy baritone vocal samples pin down steam engine churps and schoolyard hand-clap percussion.

Repressed. This is the long-awaited return of Black Acre's big gun, and this time he's enlisted the assistance of Alby Daniels. "Pascal's Chorus" opens the door with a strong dose of melancholic house, the pulsing 4x4 and scattershot percussion. "Speak Nuh" delivers a grime-inflected riddim accompanied by ghostly voices. "San'en" features a brave vocal that loiters about woozy drag house groove with skewed pop sensibilities. Finally, "Yesterday's Fall" caps off the EP with soothing melodies that wash over Alby in rude form.
