Giorgos Gratzigristos is back with yet another stunning EP on Wolfskuil. Rehearsal is a techno tale in 4 parts, a dark story with a moody ambiance and unexpected twists. Giorgos fine-tunes his outspoken productions and incorporates his broad influences which range from dubby techno, hypnotic tech house and quirky electronics to even neo-classical breaks. Arrangements are more detailed then ever before, like there was no rehearsal at all.

Giorgos Gatzigristos has been a regular Wolfskuil artist ever since the label started. The title track is a deep, freaked-out techno masterpiece combining old school sounds with a new school approach. Unbelievably heavy, without losing warmth or dynamics. "Gulp" takes the title track's deepness to big-room proportions as synth patterns swirl out of control. Big breaks, big climaxes, big sound. On volcanic ash cloud-colored vinyl.

"The Ltd subdivision of Wolfskuil Records under goes a slight adjustment in course. Not only will it be an outlet for new talent, but the coloured vinyl pressings will be strictly limited to 300 copies only. No repress! The musical direction will be deep, dark, nasty and very underground. To emphasize this fresh direction, long time Wolfskuil artist Giorgos Gatzigristos kicks off with 2 crunchy techno stompers. Ultra dark, moody and bass heavy. 'Draft' is draped in a unique oriental atmosphere alongside trademark Giorgos beats and bleeps. It's like raving in the Middle East on sand dunes surrounded by waves of desert winds. 'Cartridged' on the flip is a freaked out techno excursion as we have come to expect from Giorgos. And he does it so well!" Red vinyl.

"Giorgos Gatzigristos, born in 1979, lived in Nijmegen (NL) all his life. As a child he got enthralled by the analog sounds of Vangelis and Jean Michel Jarre, which his father sort of pushed on him. Their sounds and compositions got him interested in the way these artists created their music and the vision they had about music in general. His production career toke off in 2004 when he released his first 12" on Wolfskuil Records. It didn't take long for Giorgos to get noticed by the mighty Kompakt empire, where he released 3 successful singles on their K2 imprint. Several releases & remixes on Manual, Channel Music, etc., later he returns to his roots and delivers one hell of a techno stomper for Wolfskuil. 'Proper Latin Usage' is a deep, dark and twisted electronic masterpiece. The track sounds like a ticking timebomb which doesn't seem to go off, but keeps everyone listening in anxious suspense to the coming events. On the flip is an excellent remix from Mikrowave, label owner and International DJ Gigolo protégé, Kevin Gorman. He turns the original into proper floor-filling & bass-heavy mayhem, in the way only Kevin can. Not for the faint of heart!"

"This is the third successive record published by Channels Records. This time, 3 Channels present Giorgos Gatzigristos, a promising producer and one of the leading names from the K2 label. Giorgos makes his music -- as he admits himself -- in an extremely spontaneous way, always adding some new and fascinating things. He has always loved music. He would buy his very first records even before he got his first professional turntable. These are where he mostly gets his inspiration, but at the same time tries to avoid restraints and labels of any kind. The single starts with a Jusi-Pekka remix, a great old-school track situated somewhere between old house and modern techno. The second remix is by 3 Channels themselves, who interpret the original into a very deep, but simultaneously dynamic, funky techno. It ends with the original version of 'Boggling About The Future,' which works great in the early hours at long parties?"

"Giorgos Gatzgristos calls for a New World Order. And yes, he's right. Bass drum domination. Techno to the charts. The third single of our Netherlands dwelling Greek, seamlessly connects his prior K2 releases Skip Tutorial and Basics. Slick sounds, smart groove, compellingly danceable. Timeless, functional techno with that individual touch. A case in point just for you."

"The Greek-born but Holland dwelling DJ and producer Giorgos Gatzigristos moves forward with his second single on K2. Compared to its tasteful and laid-back predecessor (Skip Tutorial), Basics shifts up two groove-charged gears. The title track flourishes on an unstoppable oldschool bassline that is destined to touch all who come near it. Not unlike the sway of the Bolero, frequencies and melodies precisely shift through a hypnotic groove. Eight minutes of blissful escape are guaranteed! 'Caustic' reaches for the big-room. He succeeds to reach the caliber of a classic techno track, that would be expected of a producer to create in order to play in the techno Olympics. No doubt that Giorgos Gatzigristos easily qualifies and would be certain to go home with the gold!"
