"Achter Achter is the next experimental chapter in the work going beyond techno - the domain of the Freunde Tontraeger Sound Laboratory. A renowned international team of experts is writing this part of the story: Homm & Nova (Germany) are responsible for competence in groove, Philip Flindt (Denmark) for the engineering and Polder (Netherlands) for the discipline of reduction. The objective is clearly defined: audio candy designed for the international dance floors. A1 - Homm & Nova Original Mix: 'Achter Achter' is a tech house track of the finer sort, featuring rhythm expert Markus Homm (Homm & Popoviciu) and sound designer Frank Nova (Monoroom) in creative collaboration. As expected, the result is appropriately spacy, technoid and full of funk. A room-filling work of sound driven by a wonderfully grooving bass line: a percussive sound bomb. A2 - Philip Flindt Remix: This is super clean tech house by the Danish sound scientist Flindt - magnificently technical, powerful and psychedelic. Philip Flindt delivers an excellent, danceable remix of the track by Homm & Nova, which was already massively programmed for groove. B1 - Polder Remix: The popular Amsterdam-based minimal pusher Polder, aka Lauhaus & David Labeji, transforms 'Achter Achter' into a technoid, controlled yet driven burner track. This is exactly what modern minimal should be."
