2005 release. Berlin rediscovers its Super 8 avant-garde. The playful, S/M-tinged four-minute "Wedding Night" by Ika Schier first aired at the seminal 1981 "Ingenious Dilettantes" festival at the Berlin Tempodrom. The short film's soundtrack, Heyraten, hails back to the summer of '81 and was sung by the director herself, with the musical support of Bym and Johannes Vester (Alu). T.Raumschmiere (of Shitkatapult fame) transforms "Heyraten" into a mad, witch's broom-brandishing death disco shuffle.
