"The UK's Chris Sylvester returns to Contexterrior for his fifth EP as Inxec, with three tracks that showcase his ability to combine pure dancefloor energy with spellbinding mental acrobatics. In just a few years, Chris Sylvester has gained a reputation for his productions of nearly unparalleled hypnotic quality. Aside from his output on the Contexterrior label, Sylvester uses the alias B-Pole (Leftroom, Four:Twenty) and is half of the duo Sound Alliance (Renaissance). But Inxec is the name behind his most spellbinding affairs -- after hearing his new EP, you will understand why in certain countries, his music is classified as a narcotic and banned. Aside from his remixes for Adultnapper, Akiko Kiyama, and Michal Ho, this is the first Inxec release since last year's Flip Beat EP, and not a tick too soon. With the smooth and bouncy 'You Were Always,' the atonal space jazz of 'Pesto Pasta,' and the alkaline-infused 'Evula,' Inxec offers three distinct variations of his trademark weirdness in 21 minutes. Sufferers of tinnitus are advised to stay away."

Part 2 of this series. "This is a 2-part continuing series, featuring CONTEXT 16 and 16.5 as part of the same concept. In a short amount of time, Inxec has managed to create a sound entirely unto his own, with a touch of experimentalism mixed perfectly with dab of funk -- all the little sounds and fx are extremely well thought out and meticulously placed to have that exact cacophonic effect typical of Contexterrior! Inxec's sound can best be described as crazy, bubbling madness, built especially for intense dancefloors. Inxec has garnered lots of attention with his first release on Contexterrior making it a favorite for DJs such as Francious K, Magda, Troy Pierce, Rich Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos and many others."

"Time for a new bomb on Contexterrior, after a little break and a special compilation series we bring you some fresh new talent from Noddingham, England. He is a 23 year old prodigy promptly named Inxec. The sound is extremely advanced, crowd pleasing and has enough craziness to blow some minds -- bass is throbbing on all songs, clickity -- clacky percussions move the groove, as you sit and wonder --'where did he come from?' This release is truly alien, some might call it cold -- but nonetheless extremely powerful. The first cut 'Bittersweet' sports an amazing mood, huge bass-line and breakdowns guaranteed to throw the club into a frenzy. This song is receiving huge support and being regularly played by DJs like Jay Haze and Ricardo Villalobos. Inxec does it as if he was one of the founding fathers -- reverbed madness, spooky mood, and a total disregard for pop music. This is a well-rounded EP, sure to be one of the hottest records of the year."
