"Negro, Negro" is an irresistible mid-tempo groove packed with sublime arrangements, originally featured on her debut solo album (1973). Afro-inspired percussion, funky drum breaks, mysterious vocals that sound as if they were lifted from a obscure library music record, and the hypnotic organ that accompanies Isadora's voice throughout the song come together to create a mesmerizing rhythm that draws the listener in. On the flip side is one of the few recordings made together by the legendary singer Leonor González Mina -- known as "La Negra Grande de Colombia" ("The Great Black Woman of Colombia") -- and Columna de Fuego, the band that briefly served as her backing group in the early 1970s.
