Jimpster's much-loved "Eel Pie Island" first graced the coveted 2014 10 Yrs Systematic compilation (SYST 020CD). It appears here in its original form along with two remixes. Adam Port (Keinemusik, Cocoon) takes on the locomotive-esque, slow-mo jam and brings techno and minimal sensibilities to the fore but with extra tempo and swing, atmospheric flourishes, and nuanced samples. Hyenah offers a version of that brings a chiming, plonking vibe, with wood-block percussion and bongos all fluctuating in a sea of beats, deep house, and delicious sub bass.
