"A long lasting wish has been fulfilled. Adam Kroll has incorporated and interpreted the soundtrack of the master of all monster movies, Godzilla, in his new tracks. Adam draws on the original Japanese soundtrack from 1974 Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, one of 18 stories in the history of this legendary series running for over 50 years. On the a- side track 'Godzilla' Adam has embedded sounds from the movie in this techno stomper which fuses experimental sound shaping with a Robert Hood-like techno drive. The tracks consist of fabulous break downs and sounds that seem to be chasing each other through the streets of Tokyo."

"Adam Krolls third EP on Traum features two sides of him. The techno wizard's weirdness, dark and threatening and fuelled with lots of small fractured sounds ('Sir Lancelot und der Todesritt') and the super funky rather happy Isolee- flavored gallop on the A-side. On the B-side you find a remix by Freunde am Tanzen Hemman und Kaden who remixed the A-side 'Galopp' resulting in a rougher -- rocking-like remix with heavy basslines."

"Adam Kroll is since a couple of months a new artist on Traum, working intensely with the label. With his follow up to Oliver Hackes 'Polar 1' he has earned international recognition. 'Sylphen' is in contrast to his debut record, one which is reflecting to 100% his energetic complex almost jazzy way of making music. Untamed and ruthless, still controlled, 'Squonk' is the primetime rhythm-rocker of his new set of songs. Totally different is 'Yngoor' which klings more to the 'Polar 2' episode, a roaring techno animal, whereas 'Puk' is a melodic tree which leaves us with no words to comment on."
