"Liars have returned with their sixth studio album and follow-up to 2010's critically lauded Sisterworld. WIXIW was recorded in LA and self-produced by the band with additional production from Mute founder Daniel Miller and mixed by Tom Biller. The band worked more collaboratively than on previous recordings and began when frontman Angus Andrew and bassist Aaron Hemphill moved into an isolated cabin in the mountains to begin writing. The album is simultaneously the most accessible and the most challenging release from this iconoclastic band - it is both a summation of Liars' work up to now, and a complete break from anything they have done previously."

"Liars return in 2010 with their fifth studio album; their boldest and most exhilarating record to date. Sisterworld was written and recorded in Los Angeles by Liars and Tom Biller and is an invigorating summation of their career so far. Building on the back-to-basics approach employed by previous album, Liars (2007), Sisterworld is a dense art-pop thrill from start to finish. Sisterworld is Liars' own space, completely devoid of influence, somewhere remote from the false promises and discarded dreams amassed in LA. In it Liars explore the underground support systems created to deal with loss of self to society. According to Liars - Angus Andrew, Aaron Hemphill and Julian Gross - 'We're interested in the alternate spaces people create in order to maintain identity in a city like LA. Environments where outcasts and loners celebrate a skewered relationship to society.'"

"Is the second single from Drum's Not Dead, Liars' third album. The CD release features a brand new song, 'Do As The Birds, Digest The Remains' alongside two versions of the title track and a Liars remix of 'Drum And The Uncomfortable Can.' Each track is accompanied by a video, directed by a member of the band. Drum's Not Dead was partly inspired by a relocation from New York to Berlin. It finds the band taking another seismic step forward, switching continents, seizing new musical territory and shredding all past reference points."
