Representing a more analog sound than before, Itken Jos Mua Huvittaa was recorded in Gothenburg in the autumn of 2025. The album was produced by Gustav Ejstes, known as the leader of the band Dungen, and engineered by Mattias Glavå, renowned for producing Håkan Hellström's albums. Counting among the most popular bands in Finland, Maustetytöt also enjoy international cult fame and have toured extensively across Europe, performing headline shows in England, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Greece, the Czech Republic, Poland, and throughout Scandinavia.
"'Maustetytöt' translates as: 'Spice Girls.' However, the two sisters Anna Karjalainen and Kaisa Karjalainen don't sing about girl power, but about being overwhelmed.
