Double LP version. "Peter Murphy's initial foray into the music world was as the inimitable singer for the pioneering early-80's band Bauhaus, releasing a groundbreaking body of work that remains relevant and influential in the worlds of music and culture. Known as an innately charismatic and courageous live performer, Peter continues to grow his fanbase across continents and generations. He remains a commanding stage presence, a performer who reaches all eyes, hearts, and minds in the room and takes them on a sonic odyssey. In recent years, Peter has played to sold-out crowds all over the world. His live performances are an unmatched, alluring mix of enigmatic theatrics, artful guile, pure rock and roll swagger, and a voice that is evocative and transcendent. In 2024, Peter created his own label, Silver Shade, to release rare live performances and previously unreleased material. Fantastic previously unreleased live show from 1990 makes up Volume Four of the Peter Murphy of Bauhaus Live series. The second of two shows that evening at Chicago's Metro with a young Nine Inch Nails supporting. On the back of the Deep album and the hit single 'Cuts You Up' Peter's star was very much in the ascendancy in the 'States. The band features Peter's long time co-writer Paul Statham on guitar and keyboards. Features David Bowie and Magazine cover versions. Double red vinyl in an embossed sleeve with UV spot printing featuring an original painting by Peter Murphy."

"First emerging from the British punk and rock underground in the late '70s, Peter Murphy fronted the groundbreaking iconic rock band Bauhaus before launching his solo career. The new album, Silver Shade, shows Peter Murphy's voice at its most iconic and majestic. Silver Shade is a stellar addition to the legacy of Peter Murphy. produced by Youth (Killing Joke)."
