2017 release. The first-time vinyl release of this small collection of three rare songs by Nature And Organisation, "A Dozen Winters Of Loneliness", "Hooves", and "To You". This beautiful edition contains in particular an anthemic song by the band which has become a true classic in this post industrial/dark folk genre, the truly influential masterpiece, "A Dozen Winters Of Loneliness". Formed in 1983 by iconic English artist, musician and composer Michael Cashmore, Nature And Organisation utilized a mix of acoustic instruments, surreal sound collage, cut-up super 8mm film and tape loops to create a sound that would later be regarded as influential in the genre of post-industrial music. In the mid-80s Cashmore came into contact with David Tibet (ex-Psychic TV) of the group Current 93, which he later joined in 1990. For the next 20 years Cashmore wrote almost exclusively all of the music for the group including the seminal albums Of Ruine Or Some Blazing Starre, Sleep Has His House, Soft Black Stars, and Thunder Perfect Mind. Not only is he responsible for influential songs like "A Sadness Song", "Whilst The Night Rejoices Profound And Still", or "The Bloodbells Chime" that are long considered classic of the progressive folk and industrial genre, he moreover has written music for British wave legend Marc Almond (Soft Cell) and avant-garde sensation Anohni (Antony & The Johnsons). An artist renowned for his eclectic work and poignant nature, Cashmore is revered by music lovers as one of Britain's most influential and inspiring composers. This is an essential release for fans of Nature And Organisation of these very rare and hard to find pieces by this extraordinary band. Magenta, 180 gram vinyl; printed inner sleeve.

2017 release; originally released in 1985 on cassette. The first-time vinyl release of the extremely rare live recording Universal Death Stream by legendary industrial/experimental/dark folk project Nature And Organisation. This record is a document of a 1985 live recoding that sees the band at their most volatile, raw state, using harsh sounds and screaming vocals contrasted by quieter sequences that show the early form of this band that later grew to be so influential. To round up this extraordinary release, the vinyl comes with an unbelievable surprise for fans of this hugely influential band -- a DVD by Nature And Organisation. It consists of an unseen short film made by the band in 1985 with a brand-new soundtrack especially recorded for the film in 2016 (the first new recording by Nature And Organisation in almost 20 years). The original 1985 film has been re-edited by Davidé Pepe in 2016 especially for this release.
