"Nordvargr's Resignation is a true tour de force that will stand as a true gem for any fan of the fringes of techno and electronic music. Nordvargr's Resignation project was initially born in 2008 exploring rhythmic and repetitive aspects of his musical output, merging elements of electronic music with dark ambient soundscapes. From its inception delving into the more gaseous realms of dubby techno and evolving through the years towards the harder and nosier side of electronics, Nordvargr's unique grasp of the genre and his will to turn it upside down culminates in a dreamy soundtrack-like voyage, where deep atmospherics are pierced by rhythmically hypnotic and abrasive passages. A true tour de force that will stand as a true gem for any fan of the fringes of techno and electronic music."

Cold Spring Records announce a special vinyl edition of the black ambient masterpiece from Nordvargr (MZ.412). Pyrrhula, one of Cold Spring's most requested albums, was originally released on CD by the label in 2008. This 2021 edition has been restored from the original masters, and further refined for the vinyl format. Partly based on an old Swedish folktale, Pyrrhula (doomlord) is a pitch black journey into utter darkness. This is a tale of foreboding doom... a portent of dark times to come... a blight on the face of this earth. These eight, black ambient/doom/droneworks were brought forth from the abyss of Villa Bohult exclusively for Cold Spring and contain the malevolent vocals of Lord Nordvargr himself. "Beware the small creatures of light, they only bring misery and death upon the enlightened ones. For they will paint their breast with blood and reap your unborn angels." Pale amber vinyl; full color sleeve; edition of 500.

"Nordvargr returns to Cyclic Law with yet another crushing offering that follows in the footsteps of it's highly acclaimed predecessor Metempsychosis and develops the sound even further. Daath was recorded back to back with MZ. 412's Svartmyrkr and the creative maelstrom that infused that masterpiece also can be heard in Nordvargr´s solo efforts. The ambient parts have been put in the backseat in order to make way for heavy percussion, stringed and bowed instrumentation and thundering vocals delivered with serious intent. The title refers to the false sephira which also can be interpreted as the great abyss that needs to be crossed in order to attain higher knowledge; a fitting analogy for the ordeals that took place during the composition of this album as well as a perfect symbol of the new sound and direction of Nordvargr's creative universe. Standard Edition LP of 200 copies, matt laminated sleeve with printed inner sleeve on black vinyl."

"After the success of 2018's Metempsychosis album, Nordvargr's most song-based recordings ever, we asked close friends and collaborators to create their own interpretations of songs from the album. The result is an interesting blend of styles and methods that expands the Nordvargr universe even further. With exclusive reworks by MZ. 412, Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio, Vassafor, Visions, Kristoffer Oustand, Spetsnaz, Michael Idehall, Thorofon and The Benjamin Codex, the spirit of Metempsychosis mutates splendidly into new and unexpected territories. Artwork by Dehn Sora. Edition of 500 copies in 4 panel Digisleeve."

"With great honour we welcome one of Sweden's most revered craftsman of industrial soundscapes. Metempsychosis, the transmigration of the soul, is the basic concept for the new album from Henrik Nordvargr Björkk. However, not in the classic reincarnative sense, but as a study of how souls rather than being judged by a higher power, themselves chooses what flesh to inhabit. To freely roam between the dimensions and to cling on to any form of life at will. These cycles of life and death, bound in part by flesh, inspired to create these tense and organic atmospheres -- all synonymous with the journey of the soul. The result is a natural evolution of Nordvargr's trademark darkness into more rhythmic and vocal compositions where the confrontational stance of Henrik´s other projects shines through; from the harsh bombast of MZ. 412 to the vocals of Anima Nostra, all surrounded by the darkest Scandinavian aura of horror. Featuring guest vocals by Trepaneringsritualen and stunning artwork by Dehn Sora."

...To Live Again As A Servant of Darkness. "The Nordic giant purveyor of modern dark ambient death drone sounds strikes again on Essence Music! This time Mr. Nordvargr leaves behind the detailed abyssal land of haunting minimalistic atmospheres found on Vitagen, released under his full name -- Henrik Nordvargr Björkk -- and moves towards the blackest side of the drone doom micro cosmos. A grim place where, sitting on the throne, he commands the crushing, ear-splitting and slow motion processed guitar blasts that emerge from the depths of the pitch black ambient background. Cavernous rumbles, disembodied voices and disturbing malfunction machines play the role and prepare the terrain for one of the most demonic axe attacks to come! Presented in our custom 6-panel digisleeve packaging with stunning artwork by Stephen O'Malley (Sunn O))), Khanate) and photography by Seldon Hunt."
