While Andrei Antonets's Permanent Departure sought, and found, the meditative magic of the night, these four tracks take no prisoners when it comes to danceability. While "Hellraiser 2017" and "For Me There Is No Other One" (feat. Jake The Rapper) on the A side are still in the lower BPM range, "PD124" on the B side, ups the pace and therefore the energy level, which is effortlessly maintained for eight minutes. The conclusion comes with "Eto Ne Son 111", which pairs heavy drums with wistful melodies in an entirely perfect, non-contradictory fusion.

OID is the solo project of Russian producer Andrei Antonets. Born in Riga, Latvia, Antonets has lived in Berlin, and, at the time of this release, is based in Moscow, where he is inspired by the city's rapidly changing scene. "Bright Side of Life" evokes a sense of potential; it is upbeat without being commercial. The track's singular sound has prompted The Field, Popnoname & J.P Janzen (Von Spar), and Mujuice to produce remixes, included here alongside the original. Each artist delivers a unique take on this uncommon yet catchy tune.
