Onno knows best how to make the kids shine, and as expected, he's put together a breakwater just in time for beach season: "Whatever Makes You Happy" glides on the crest of the A1 groove with a heavy-duty surfboard. Its laconic vocal work and dynamic drum rolls are echoed in the remix by Nico Lahs at coordinates B2. For the B1, Onno provides similarly strong dancing material, shooting pool on the sundeck of his boat and knocking "8-Ball" into the hole of victory.

Onno is a highly-dosed dancing pill -- pop one and your rubber legs turn into those of Fred Astaire. The title track opens with some sweet vocals and drills into your memory banks. On B2, he's quite content with the repetitive use of vocals, like a fitness trainer trying to squeeze that last drop of sweat out of you. Gavin Herlihy takes a subtler approach to the track with a remix that writhes in the scented oils that is house deepness.

SOUVENIR 027EP

Please welcome one of the most promising Dutch artists on Souvenir, ONNO. A one-way ticket to India awaits you with "Bombay Palace," a must-have crowd-pleaser for the early sunshine of the day. Daniel Sanchez flies the original direct to Chicago -- encompassing space-y and vocoded vocal sounds. "Chants" is driven by cosmic waves and stomping drums -- a singular piece of electronically-modified funk, remixed by Santé.
