SAPIENS 002A-EP
|
A decade after initially seeing the light, Oxia's now classic "Domino" gets reworked to celebrate its anniversary. The first part of these remixes features a new cut by Oxia himself as well as several remixes by none other than Robag Wruhme and Matador. The EP will be released through Agoria's newly found record label Sapiens. Ten years ago the track made waves in the international dance music circuit, striking up chords with techno, trance and house DJs alike to quickly become an all-time classic. The set of tracks are the first officially commissioned remixes by Oxia ever.

Tides of Mind (IF 1018CD/LP), the second album by Oxia, turned 2012's cloudy springs into a shining early summer. "Housewife," featuring Miss Kittin, is a standout track taken from the album, and this EP includes two new versions signed by the originators of the track. Miss Kittin turned the track into an electro vintage delight while Oxia boosts the original element to lengthen dancefloor pleasure. On the flip-side, Society Of Silence brings darkness and minimal sweat to make of it a perfect pick for afterhours.

2LP version on 180 gram vinyl. Almost eight years after the release of 24 Heures (on Goodlife), Oxia, pioneer of the French techno scene, is back in 2012 with a surprising new LP entitled Tides Of Mind. Deep, melodic, soulful and irresistibly groovy. For Tides Of Mind, Oxia put aside the trendy electronic patterns and moved back to his earliest influences. With this said, the album is not shy of a deep and melodic sound that ventures to the dancefloor with a stamp of the Oxia groove.
