"Pelle Buys celebrates his first single at Gedankensport and underlines label head Stereo & Flatner's community and networking philosophy. Also known as member of the legendary Einmusik and Error Error projects it's obvious who we talk about. His solo releases show the deepest and emotional side of his musical life. Sweatlodge or Italic -- the platforms for his labours of love. Gedankensport subsequently guides the path of a great personality, producer and musician. Pelle Buys knows the deal concerning minimalism -- the two brand-new tracks are as minimal as complex in structure and style. This is a new stage of emotionalism. This is 'Minemotionalism' -- sports for your brain and legs!"

"Here we present you a dose of Love Techno in the shape of Pelle Buys. The Hamburg based producer, class of 1974, gives us moments of sensuality in all facets. As part of Hamburg's celebrated techno boy-group Einmusik and Error Error (together with Denis Karimani aka Remute), Pelle is on the forefront unleashing concentrated hedonism. But with his solo releases, the thoughtful private person Pelle Buys aims to hit you right in the middle of the heart. And he does! With complex surface compositions, deep bass constructs and intelligent melody sequences, Mr. Buys brews an audiophile emotional cocktail, with highest precision and intuition. His works are filled with deeply personal feelings and moods, so that each element and detail of his tracks seem to be inspired by his own life's history. Stories around life and around love. Pelle's releases and his stunning live sets make one thing unmistakably clear: we're talking here about a connoisseur. A connoisseur of the Love Techno."

"The Einmusik & Error Error man from Hamburg also makes a good figure solo. Snappy tech-house with a charming trance appeal."

"Enemy Mine is the title of Hamburg-based Pelle Buys' first solo release. Considering his other projects Einmusik and Error Error, he belongs to the 'wasted German youth' (Paul Snowden) of young Hamburg-based rave producers. Enemy Mine however, is a pure counterdraft to this rave approach. The tracks are more his very own statements on his emotional state ranging between love, despair, going out (to party hard) and loneliness. The attitude can be compared to Blumfeld's first album Ich-Maschine: are the two of us too many to be free? Or do I need you to be myself? The title track 'Enemy Mine' is very sedate and calming. It opens up a vast space going for infinity. 'Saw Off' is a deep Chicago acid house track. A kind of jack your body in 'Smallville.' And at the end of the record, you will get a 'Tribute To Solitude': solitude and loneliness are more a kind of feeling than an attitude. Here comes love techno."
