UK roots reggae classic from veteran vocalist Danny Red, originally released on the Dredbeat label in 1994. "Be Grateful", mixed by Nick Manasseh is a mid-90s staple deep roots tune. Despite numerous re-recordings, these original mixes are the ones that are in demand. Along with the original cuts, this 12" features three previously unreleased cuts, including three dub versions.

Originally released on the Abba Jahnoi label in 1993, "Jah is Version" is one of the holy grail's of the UK roots reggae and dub scene. A raw and minimalist production style from Danny Red and crew with a stripped-down dub version. Other versions and re-recordings of this track have emerged, but this is the original and best.

More rarities from the vaults of Conscious Sounds. Danny Red and Centry from 1992 with the previously unreleased Jah See and Know and dub-wise counterpart. The rhythm gives a nod to the Rastafarian nyahbinghi style of drumming. "Zion Garden" originally appeared on 7" in 1993. Here is it again, this time followed by a previously unheard dub cut. Phasers firing all over the place in a Lee Perry/Black Ark style. Edition of 300.
