One of the long-term contributors to MB Elektronics, RedHead (aka Steve Vangilbergen) is one of the stalwarts of Belgium's well-respected techno scene. Now in his twentieth year as a producer, RedHead's style of funky and hard loops has proved popular across Europe with regular performances at landmark events such as I Love Techno, Nature One and Awakenings. "Disco Me" is pure, funky techno at its infectious best, centered on a simple bass loop and driven along by slamming beats.

After the EP Time For A Change on his own imprint Red Factory, and the very successful anthem "2 Hearts" on MB Elektronics, for Belgium-based Redhead, Crash & Burn EP is the next logical step. "The Tale of 100 Knights" is a beautiful atmospheric chill-out track that may remind some people of Boards Of Canada. Both tracks on the B-side are pure dancefloor material: the title track and "Sliding Doors" are on the pure minimal tip. Think Minus, think Wighnomy Brothers, and you're almost there.
