The German sound-pioneer Schiller is a household name in the world of electronic music, particularly in the fields of ambient and chill out music. In the past he has produced chill out mixes for artists such as Rammstein and Mike Oldfield. Now he presents a full-length album packed with chill out versions of his gold-selling #1 album Sun (7S 001CD). Sun - Chill Out Edition includes chill-out mixes of the best tracks on the regular Sun album and sets a new precedent in the world of ambient and chill out music. Inspired by electro classics from the likes of Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, and Jean-Michel Jarre, Christopher von Deylen creates visionary sounds that are ahead of their time. This has also impressed the president of the world-leading classical label Deutsche Grammophon, who has invited Schiller to appear on his prestigious label with the album Opus, an electronica album inspired by classical melodies which features some guest artists from the classical world such as Anna Netrebko and Helene Grimaud.

Schiller, Germany's #1 electronica artist, releases the international version of his chart-topping album Sonne, called Sun. Sun is Christopher von Deylen aka Schiller's seventh studio album -- the German issue of which has already reached gold status in Germany, just like the rest of his work. Schiller -- who has achieved ongoing success since his worldwide club hit "Das Glockenspiel" in 1999 -- has developed from a side dance project to one of the most accomplished album artists in the electronica field. His mixture of ambient electronic dreamscapes and vocal tracks featuring high profile guest vocalists has been highly acclaimed by both audiences and media. With his new album, Schiller opens a new chapter of his unique career. After being the leading electronica artist in his home country for more than a decade, Schiller is now heading for international success. Inspired by electro classics like Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, and Jean-Michel Jarre, von Deylen creates visionary sounds that are ahead of their time. The highly-acclaimed album Longing was described by English musician and composer Mike Oldfield as, "Music that moves one really deep inside." Von Deylen's new electronic pop music is enthusiastically celebrated by fans and the press as global pop with international appeal. In the past Schiller has collaborated with a wide range of exciting guest artists such as Sarah Brightman, Nadia Ali, Mike Oldfield, Lang Lang, September, Colbie Caillat, Jaki Liebezeit (Can), Tarja Turunen (ex- Nightwish, Despina Vandi, Anggun), just to name a few. For Sun, the German sound pioneer met in the studio with collaborators including Adam Young of Owl City, Andrea Corr (The Corrs), Ameerah, and the Norwegian songstress Kate Havnevik.
