Dark, powerful, hypnotizing, magnificent, and raw, Spitzer's debut tests the boundaries in its own way, just like InFiné. The Call perfectly captures the spirit of our movement-revering age, and turns the alt-rock energy into club monsters. The album includes the American vocal wonder, Kid A (Agoria) and Fabrice Gilbert of Parisian electro-punk band Frustration (Born Bad Records). Their previous EPs have been supported by A-list DJs such as James Lavelle, Dave Clark, Ewan Pearson, Joris Voorn and Trevor Jackson and electronic experts like Resident Advisor, Data Transmission and De Bug. With this first-class first chapter, the Spitzer revolution does appear to be under way. This "call" -- at once outraged and restrained -- will resonate on many levels with its audience.

Here are three tracks from the two brothers that comprise Spitzer, in anticipation of their upcoming debut full-length. "Sergen," here packaged in its extended version, puts together a metallic bassline and a hypnotic loop of synth, enlightened by a hardened steel guitar riff. "Serpentine" is infected by some venomous loops and an oppressive rhythm. More intimate and almost Lynchean, "Delenda" concludes the EP with the gothic poetry of ice-cold xylophone and ethereal waves.
