"For many DJs and friends of Festplatten, Hannes Teichmann's 'Jäger' is the one of the most timeless tracks and the secret Festplatten hit. For this reason, a remix EP was planned for a long time already, now it's finally done. Two Jäger fans sat down to remix this piece -- Sascha Funke and Dave DK -- and Hannes also treated himself for a new version. We say: all three did a excellent job and brought to us a marvelous EP. While all three's patch definitely is the dancefloor, they all have quite a different approach: Sascha takes the 'Jäger' down from his stance and talks him into a lovely battle with no escape. Dave relies on experience -- sight, aim, squeeze the trigger, while Hannes slowly sneaks up from behind and hypnotizes his victims."

"If sonic moths rave it up, there is a big bash... because if they get off the ground, they are nearly untamable! The little beasts are known from small studios, where the sound is reflecting on the walls, before it's arriving on the ear. Hannes Teichmann turned the table: he had a big party with his studio-mates linus brand aka 'The Bad Financer,' Tobe and his sonic moths. this is much better than to have the bugs munching holes in his tracks. So he created two tracks, with the typical hannes funk. And they don't only fascinate moths! Hannes loves to be minimal but also epic and even so his 12 minute tracks are ending to fast. Humans and moths want more, so he puts his acid tool kid on top: acidloops for every circumstance! So the party is unstoppable: on the ground, waterborne or airborne... everybody puts his hands and legs in the air and raves it up, as if there will be no tomorrow!"

"On Heartcore Hannes Teichmann pours out not only his heart but also his second solo EP on Festplatten. The element combining his two solo EPs and especially the three tracks on Heartcore is this subliminal and minimal funk that never seems to want to leave. Still each track has its own face: A1-- 'Dr. Boehm' -- is a 12-minute trance-funk-epic that comes from nowhere, settles on a hypnotic organ melody and just becomes bigger and bigger until the huge break. The end of the break has been marked on the vinyl for those who are looking for less dynamics in their set. That way the 7-minute-prime-time- mix is already included in the 12-minute clubmix. The B-side starts with 'Tribute' and pays homage to the old Detroit heroes and a not unknown Scandinavian. In other words turning a minimal nation into a minimal world. The last track 'Bonus Beats' will be booming in loud cars and making DJs try out their scratch skills and freestyle raps. As always the EP is rounded up by three endless loops -- 4/4 kick drum, 2/4 snare and an 8- time-shaker."
