"Mother's Nose delivers a next-level articulation of the tension-and-release sound the group developed on 2011's album Golden Worry. It's an incandescent eruption of organized panic, propelled by shimmering guitars, churning rhythms, and esoteric chants. Yet as this A-side feels like the ultimate expression of Thank You's approach thus far, B-side 'The Whale' situates our ears within a new orbit altogether. Here, opiated melodies float over beats more click than clamor, coalescing into an Eno-esque soundscape of harmonic waves and secret horizons."

"Thank You finally return after a year of touring both here (with the astonishing Mi Ami) and abroad behind their 2008 full-length Thrill Jockey debut Terrible Two. The new EP features two new tracks, 'Pathetic Magic' and 'Strange All,' and is the first recording to feature Emmanuel Nicolaidis behind the drum kit. The B side of the EP features three exclusive remixes from several Baltimore friends. Dan Deacon took time out from his hectic touring schedule to remix a track, Asa Osborne of Lungfish fame lent his minimalist aesthetic to a mix of 'Pathetic Magic' and 'Strange All' woven together, and Joe Williams (of White Williams) and Jason Urick (of WZT Hearts) collaborated together on a remix of 'Pathetic Magic.'" Numbered edition of 300 copies with two glossy inserts.

"The brand new album from Baltimore's Thank You. The album recording was engineered by Baltimore's beloved J. Robbins (Yeasayer, Mary Timony, Jets to Brazil) at his studio and was produced and mixed by Chris Coady (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Celebration, TV on the Radio) at his studio in New York City. Thank You is an athletic rhythm/action unit, made up of Jeffrey McGrath, Michael Bouyoucas, and Elke Wardlaw. They are three free individuals, subsumed into a collective form that spits out dank, skittering tracks filled with light and dark."
