SYST 115EP
|
After the highly acclaimed first part of Wehbba's outstanding Systematic Shades series (SYST 107EP, 2015), it's finally time for the second volume. Once again, he provides three hybrids of straight and functional tracks, including that certain touch of something you either have or donĀ“t. "Moonrise" is reminiscent of the good old early times of techno when the MPC-60 was the master of the groovy rhythms and "Polychrome" and "The Persistence Of Memory" underline how authentic and rough Wehbba can be in creating his techy tracks.

SYST 107EP

When it comes to techno and tech house, Wehbba is without a doubt Brazil's number-one poster-boy, with countless strong releases on platforms like Intacto, 100% Pure, and Tronic, and a game-changing 2011 remix of Laurent Garnier's 1997 classic "Flashback." With the Systematic Shades EP series, Wehbba intends to connect and display different paintings with his own musical colors. Vol. 1 delivers typical Wehbba typical floor tracks that evoke vivid colors. Check out "View of Delft" to be touched; check out "Um den Kern" if you're searching for the next convincing floor-filler. Also includes "Visage" by Marc Romboy.

AM 046EP

Audiomatique welcomes Brazilian producer Wehbba to their roster. The groovy, sample-laden beats of "3Days" are a tribute to that very special '60s festival of fun and music. Mihalis Safras engineers a crafty remix on the flip-side, strengthening the groove further with dramatic snare shots and heavy bass surges. "Balance" shimmers and shakes across the audio spectrum. Smooth, immediate and functional, its spacey beats fuse with classic Rhodes chords in a modern deep house jam.

PURE 067EP

Rodolfo Wehba is one of Brazil's newest techno ambassadors. Since his first album on URBR back in 2004, he's released on labels such as Renaissance, Global Underground, Great Stuff, Get Physical, Tronic and BluFin, among many others. "Dirty Pictures" packs a punch with its radical bounce beats filtered across chord jabs and percussive melodies. While the vocal sample may take you back to the '80s, this track can only move the clubbers forward and onto the dancefloor.
