LIVING 005EP
"Lars Wickinger's debut release on Living. This rising star has already released on Traum, Opossum, Liebe*Detail and Dimmer. For this EP, he brings us his special blend of melancholic electronica underpinned with solid dancefloor beats and represents the cream of pan-European underground electronic club music. If you're after something a little different that kicks it in the club, then this could well be it. The A-side, 'Silver Bullet,' is a must-have track for those groovy, trippy 3am moments. It is only revealed in its full glory in a club when the crepuscular magical elements really come together -- in the dark, with sweat dripping down the walls. 'Crystalline' is one of those tracks that can make the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end. When the melody finally breaks through into some kind of resolution, it's like the sun breaking through the clouds and suddenly you feel glad to be alive."

OPSM 007EP
"Sweet Swede! 007 Lars Wickinger fires at the dancefloor in the name of Her Majesty. Some of you might relate him to the C.I.T. project which has already launched successful releases on Spoiler Records and Monika Kruses imprint Electric Avenue. As an old guitarrero Lars knows exactly how to rock: he played his way through various grunge and hard rock bands before, via new wave and some synthie-pop he approached the devices responsible for his current sound. 'Cobra Liebe' -- naturally stirred AND shaken -- comes, as a matter of fact, pretty close to said reptile's bite. So it doesn't take long until this sound cocktail becomes real poisonous. To all anxious animal-rights activists: don't be fooled by 'Delfine im Tank!' No single sea mammal did get nicked into tiny bins. The track was rather conducted as a background tune for US-Army trailers: lurid shots show a flipper platoon driving tanks after bitching about having to stick ammunition belts on adversarial warships all day long. 'Out of Schweiß' is a real afterhour-burner -- and rather true to its name. After all, what's sweating during an afterhour are no frantically wincing bodies but rather the synapses. And that's exactly what they're gonna do once more when hearing this track accompanying accurate optics."

TRAUM 071EP
"Raised on a diet of Bauhaus, Virgin Prunes and Einstürzende Neubauten the Berlin based Lars Wickinger will now release his solo debut on Traum. Lars has recorded together before with various people releasing tracks on Freizeitglauben as Vanilla Krepp and on Electric Avenue as C.I.T. His Traum 12" resembles a unique fusion of '80s new wave influences with minimal techno that result in a Rockeria clash of unorthodox sounds and minimal rhythm patterns monotone and hypnotizing, creating the impossible. The A-side 'Blutrausch' (engl. Bloodlust), is an excursion with the speed of light into the past and then beamed back into the present. Yet no one has done this transfer in such an adventurous rush so far. The track fades out before it has even started, the feeling remains... what was that! Lars has a tight groove that rocks away like the Silver Surfer, incorporating sharp metallic sounds, cutting through it with the force and precision of an axe."
