This is the debut full-length release by Wooden Spoon on Bo' Weavil. Wooden Spoon seeks to create a music free from the influence of the modern world, to evoke some kind of state of pastoral introspection at once joyful and sad. Influenced by the Takoma school of guitar players, Popol Vuh, and folk music from around the world, Wooden Spoon's methods are instinctive, and his music has a reality and honesty rare in these times.
