Flox presents the international release of Homegrown on Echo Beach. Anglo-French artist Flox has been sowing his "Nu Reggae" seeds for years now in venues all around France, and a new genre has sprouted, somewhere between roots reggae and electro. Deeply influenced by the Jamaican culture, from Linton Kwesi Johnson to The Police, to the more modern Fat Freddy's Dop, Flox released his fifth album, Homegrown, in his home country France in late 2015. The German Echo Beach label is now proud to present Homegrown's international release, combining the original album with a second exclusive CD with bonus tracks. Even though the four previous albums already perfectly encompassed the richness and diversity of Flox's universe and personality, Homegrown creates a more intimate place, closer to his state of mind, revealing his endeavor to remain genuine regardless of the cost, to follow his gut without compromise.
