"Two Canadian guys that live in Berlin. One one hand the Canadian Jake Fairley, that celebrates his love for 'hardrock-sawing-schaffel-with-Iggy-Pop-vocals' in his currently released album on Dumb Unit -- Touch Not the Cat. His Speicher track now shows him from a total different side. Frantic is a lucent, transparent and firm groove monster that due to metallic sequencer sounds, reminds of daf in its best way. Great track. On the other hand, our dear friend Peter Grummich, that always finds the time to release some tracks on Kompakt, even though he has his own label in the meantime. Motorized is a sweeping 'Sägezahn' track and a good example that it's not a question of old or new music but much more of being inspired or not. And that track is inspired. Feel free to feel."
