Troy Pierce and Gibby Miller aka Louderbach present the first single from their Autumn album. "Shine" is edited down into a compact radio-friendly version -- the perfect soundtrack for a late-night drive with Miller's vocals recalling the cathartic Joy Division/New Order crossover period in both texture and mood. "External Envelope" consists of analog synthesizer drones, treated sitar and low, warbling vox-like chants which pulse at various oscillating rates, inviting a trip to the local sensory deprivation tank.
