Malik (trumpet); "Mad" Paul Murphy (drums); William Parker (bass); Glenn Spearman (tenor saxophone). One of the best groups ever assembled under Malik's leadership, with all the concentrated drive, tautness, and ferocity characteristic of his strongest music.
