Since 2006, Khünnt have fervently explored the boundaries of esoteric music, from minimalist noise, cack-rock and ESP screams to live improvisation, fog-beat and psychedelic city mantra. Khünnt is: John-Michael Hedley - Bass Guitar; Matthew Baty - Drums; Adam Ian Sykes, Richard Dawson, Sam Grant - Guitar; Stephen Palmer - Vocals, Synth. Members of Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, Blown Out & Richard Dawson. To celebrate their 10 year anniversary, Khünnt present new material on Riot Season titled Failures. Failures is a one track, near 40-minute hypnotic passage split over two parts for a 12" vinyl release. For the most part the album is less aggravated and more smoked out than Khünnt's previous output but be warned, it is no less intense. The album masterfully exploits repetition and dynamic to the point of overload, before collapsing into raw, feral carnage. The performance of Failures was expertly captured, mixed and mastered by Sam Grant (Bong - Stoner Rock (RITE 024LP, RITE 025CD), Haikai No Ku - Ultra High Dimensionality (BOXREC 006LP)) at Blank Studios, Newcastle. Edition of 150. On 140 gram black vinyl. Housed in 350gsm thick card sleeve.
