"This is Resopal Red's 28th release and the third release of the new series concept. Resopal Red focuses on modern house in association with the modern digital and antique analogism. Since its first release in 2005 by Chicago legend DJ Pierre, Resopal Red tries to bring innovations into dance music and continues to change concepts, styles and genres. As we are all getting more and more digitally minimal, this is the result of the teamwork between musician and programmer, program and consumer. The current club sound under the term 'digital minimal' is disused more and more as an excuse for repetitive, uninspired productions without any musical references. Our intention was and still is to create and compile a contribution to the electronic music fans. To work, to share and to exchange with each other; the DJ, the artists and the labels we love. Mainly small labels and producers based around the globe which share a certain, similar view of house. It's amazing seeing all these great labels doing what they do: pushing things in a creative way forward. Artists on this release: Paris' own Chloé, with her new project Pleinsoleil and Heidelberg-based multimedia artist Lopazz, whose track will surely bring back pure Chicago house flavor and feeling to the clubs. As mentioned, we will not write any lines about the clever drum programming and the thick bass and cleverly-placed vocal snippets. Simply listen and enjoy."
